Roma absentee Francesco Totti says his team-mates "showed balls" to win 1-0 at Udinese on Sunday despite being a man down.
The Italy star was unavailable due to injury but, after the match, he took the time to praise his side for grinding out the narrow victory, despite being reduced to 10 men after Maicon was being sent off.
"Compliments to my team-mates who all showed they’ve got courage, strength and balls," the 37-year-old stated on his official blog.
"We are all Roma, regardless of who is playing.
"I must also thank the fans, who supported us against an Udinese side that was unbeaten at home. Great!"
Table-toppers Roma, who are currently on a nine-game winning streak in Serie A, meet Chievo on Tuesday.
