Rodrigo Palacio feels Inter put in the perfect performance in Sunday's 3-1 victory over Udinese.
Goals from Palacio and Andrea Ranocchia gifted the Nerazzurri a two-goal lead at half-time before Ricky Alvarez made it three in the closing stages of the game and the striker was delighted with his side's display.
"We knew it wouldn’t be easy, but we played a great match. It was a perfect performance that allowed us to claim the win," Palacio told Inter Channel.
"Winning was very important. It was also crucial because of the fact that all the teams ahead of us in the standings had also won."
The attacker then went on to praise Esteban Cambiasso and stressed that the Argentine is a key figure for Inter.
"Cuchu's so important to this team. He’s intelligent and always knows what to do.
"He has a lot of experience and always gives his all so that Inter can win."
Inter currently sit fourth in Serie A with 22 points from 11 games.
