Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil will play no part in Germany's friendly clash with England at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday night.
The 25-year-old, who made an appearance off the bench against Italy on Friday, has been withdrawn from the squad, along with Philipp Lahm and Manuel Neuer, as Joachim Low plans to try out different players at Wembley.
"The game against England is the last chance to test tactics and personnel before the World Cup," theMannschaft boss said in a statement.
"Lahm, Neuer and Ozil are the absolute core, for me it's important to give other players in key positions a chance to prove themselves against a great team like England."
Ozil has recorded the joint-most assists in the Premier League since moving to the Emirates Stadium during the summer, helping Arsenal climb to top spot, but was struck by illness this week.
Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker joins the squad after recovering from a virus suffered prior to the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United last weekend.
